Scranton's Captain, We're Sinking are purely in it to have a blast and write good tunes- something we can all appreciate. On their latest effort It's A Trap the band churns out 4 songs brimming with emotion and a sincerity too real to fake. Each song swells and bursts with heartfelt desperation, backed by charged guitar riffs and a racing drumbeat that defines the band's sound. Though Captain, We're Sinking is a young band, just emerging into the music scene, they hold a lot of promise. Their youthful approach to melodic punk is both refreshing and inspiring.
