After releasing numerous EPs with varying line-ups, Direct Hit! have settled down to create what I believe to be one of the most exciting pop punk releases of the summer. Under the advice of their fans, the band chose ten songs from EPs #1-#5 to rerecord and reimagine for their first full length. The result was Domesplitter, a hard hitting collection of songs about paranoia, possession and zombies. Not your typical pop punk record, Domesplitter is ten steps ahead, toting a no bullshit attitude and telling you to have just have a good time. From beginning to end, the energy just doesn't let up, leaving you mentally exhausted and amped all at the same time, screaming "get pumped" until you're hoarse.
