Philadelphia has been and always will be my home. So every time I hear a new band doing something cool from the area, it's pretty exciting. Though originally from Scranton, Ah, Horse Hockey moved down to Philadelphia a few years ago in the mass exodus that has led to the rebirth of punk rock in the City Of Brotherly Love.

Luckily, the change of scenery didn't affect the guys too much. For a long time I (along with many others) have had a theory that there's something in the water up there in Scranton that breeds catchy melodies and great songwriting. Ah, Horse Hockey is no exception. The Friendship EP is full of sweet tunes and a lot of promise to boot.

For the Phillyheads, this one was recorded at the much missed Ava House, the Man Cave and the Banana Stand.
